What if Friends of Michigan Animals Rescue earned a penny every time you searched the Internet? Well, now we can!
GoodSearch.com is a new search engine that donates half its revenue, about a penny per search, to the charities its users designate. You use it just as you would any search engine, and it's powered by Yahoo!, so you get great results.
Just go to www.goodsearch.com and be sure to enter Friends of Michigan Animals Rescue as the charity you want to support. Just 500 of us searching four times a day will raise about $7300 in a year without anyone spending a dime! And, be sure to spread the word!
What if every time you shopped online a percentage of the sale went to your favorite nonprofit or school?
Welcome to GoodShop! More than 100 great stores including Target, Macy's, The Gap, Best Buy, Nordstrom, PetSmart, Staples and Wal*Mart have teamed up with GoodSearch to do just that.
The next time you're looking for a new book, computer, DVD, pair of shoes or clothing, go to GoodShop first.
It's simple. No username or password is required. Just designate your favorite charity or school, click on the store's logo from the GoodShop site and then shop as you normally would.
You'll get the same great prices, but every time you place an order, you'll be supporting your favorite cause with donations that average around 3% of the sale but can exceed 20%!
Needless to say, we're really excited to offer you this new service and we hope you'll help spread the word!

Hi, all you animal lovers. This is pretty simple... Please tell ten friends to tell ten today! The Animal Rescue Site is having trouble getting enough people to click on it daily to meet their quota of getting free food donated every day to abused and neglected animals. It takes less than a minute how about 20 seconds) to go to their site and click on the purple box "fund food for animals" for free. This doesn't cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate food to abandoned/neglected animals in exchange for advertising
.
Here's the web site! Pass it along to people you know. While you are there, click on the other tabs too, it all helps.

Author of From a Rainbow Bridge
From Rainbow Bridge is about the place our animal friends go when their
time on earth is through. Chloe, the main character and recent arrival at
the Bridge, has been assigned to do a story on what rainbow bridge is all
about.
This she does with typical canine candor.
She takes us on tour of some of the areas of the Bridge like the
volunteer center and the virtual reality area where one can see how other
creatures live.
Her favorite place is where reunions occur between pets and their
humans.
If this book looks of interest to you, please visit chloe and her

Friends of Michigan Animals Rescue has teamed up with a local Michigan artist by the name of Kimberly Kelly Santini. Kim recently created a portrait of Sadie, an adoptable FMAR senior pet. It only took a couple of days and Kim’s portrait of Sadie was sold. Kim will donate 20% of the sale from Sadie’s and any other FMAR pet portraits she creates to help the animals at FMAR.
If you have adopted a dog from FMAR and would like to have a one of a kind portrait of your pet, you can do just that. Kim has generously agreed to donate 20% to FMAR for any painting commission.
